They are medium in size and are a rich dark brown, very hardy and excellent foragers if free range. These are classed as a “Rare Breed” and are quite hard to get hold of, but are well worth the wait just for their eggs. Excellent layers with medium sized brown eggs.

Prices are available upon request. Due to the high demand for some of these birds a deposit may be asked for. Prices for chicks up to breeding age may vary depending on whether a guarantee is required for the sex of the bird. If you pay the adult price for chicks which are hopefully sexed correctly then we will refund or swap birds if sexing was incorrect at the time.
All prices are based upon self collection.
Vaccinations may vary depending on breeders and location. Please clarify at time of enquiry.
If there are any problems with the birds we will be happy to replace the birds like for like up to a month from date of purchase.
